On the September 15, 2026 edition of The NEWSMAX Daily, Tony Marino covers the questions surrounding Rep. Ilhan Omar as federal officials discuss an ongoing investigation involving allegations of immigration or marriage fraud. Trump adviser John Solomon explains what could happen if investigators were to establish that Omar obtained citizenship under false pretenses. Omar has denied the underlying allegations.
Rep. Tim Burchett joins “Finnerty” following Sen. Mitch McConnell’s return to Capitol Hill and argues that congressional staff should face term limits. Then, Rep. Anna Paulina Luna discusses the rapidly advancing AI race, calling for safeguards while warning that the United States cannot afford to lose its technological edge to China. The broader debate comes as lawmakers and technology leaders grapple with how to address AI risks without impeding American innovation.
Plus, Ben Shapiro joins “Rob Schmitt Tonight” to discuss Abdul El-Sayed, Hasan Piker, antisemitism and divisions within the Democratic Party.
