Award-winning chef, author and TV personality Chef JJ Johnson has built a multi-hyphenate career in the restaurant industry and is known for his barrier-breaking cuisine informed by the Caribbean flavors of his childhood. Since being named to the Forbes 30 Under 30 list for his work at the restaurant Cecil, he has grown into a successful entrepreneur—most recently, he founded FieldTrip, a Harlem-based eatery serving globally inspired rice bowls.
