Dec.05 — In Chile, worker strikes, extreme weather events and civil unrest have weighed on copper miners. The protests shut among other things mines, roads and ports, and all took place amid signs of slowing economic growth in China and the U.S., the two biggest copper users. Max Layton, managing director at Citi Research who oversees European commodities research in industrial and precious metals and bulk commodities, talks with Bloomberg’s Alix Steel on “Bloomberg Commodities Edge”.
