Feb.24 — Coronavirus cases outside China have surged, intensifying concerns of a global pandemic. That’s as cases in South Korea have jumped 20-fold to more than 750 in the past week and reported two more fatalities. Meanwhile, Italy has become the European epicenter as it confirms about 140 cases and three deaths. To counter the effects of the outbreak, China’s top leaders have signaled their planning to increase stimulus this year through fiscal and monetary policy. Bloomberg’s Stephen Engle reports on “Bloomberg Daybreak: Europe.”
